With this post, Decisive is launching our professional blog. The blog is a way for us at Decisive to share what we do on a daily basis and what we’re passionate about. We’re a diverse group of people, each with our own interests, and we’ll be diving deep into the topics that excite us.
It’s just the way people are: when we’re interested in something, we want to learn more about it. And that’s how we often become good at those very things.
Decisive is made up of three teams. We have the shift scheduling department, which manages the TTA shift scheduling system and assists our TTA customers with everything from big issues to small ones. We have the system development department, which consists of full-stack Java developers and IT architects. In addition, we have the consulting department, which focuses on providing expert advice and support to our clients on everything from pension expertise, privacy, and information security to implementation and change management. The consulting department’s center of excellence is regulatory development and the modeling of regulations using the tools of the Decisive method, something I am absolutely certain will be featured on this blog.
This blog will therefore feature posts covering all the areas of expertise that make up our team. These include IT architecture, programming, integrations, shift scheduling challenges, process management, implementation, regulatory development, and the use of Decision Management Systems—both off-the-shelf and custom-built.
I’m really looking forward to reading all the different posts, because at Decisive we have so many talented people who have something to share!
