By using or downloading content or information from www.decisive.no (the “Website”), you agree to the terms and conditions of use of the Website. This statement contains information to which you are entitled under Section 19 of the Personal Data Act, as a result of the collection of information regarding your behavior and use of the website. The statement also contains information on how Decisive AS processes personal data, cf. Section 18, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Data Act.

In addition to information collected through the use of the website, Decisive processes personal data on behalf of our clients. All such processing is carried out in accordance with and to fulfill the agreement between Decisive and the client. Decisive’s processing of this information is governed by separate agreements between the client and Decisive.

Decisive is the data controller for Decisive’s processing of personal data. Day-to-day responsibility for data processing lies with the CEO. Decisive notes that this privacy policy may be amended from time to time as a result of changes in how we handle and use the information we collect.

Collection of information

Decisive collects information about visitors to the website. The reason for and purpose of this data collection is to compile statistics that we use, among other things, to learn from your behavior and that of other users, so that we can improve the website’s functionality, user experience, and content. The collected data includes, among other things, information on how many people visit the website, the duration of the visit, the user’s location, the browser used, information about navigation on the website, the date and time of the visit, the ISP, and information about the user’s operating system.

The information may also be used for sales and marketing purposes, so that we can provide our customers with relevant and personalized offers. The information we collect is anonymized, so we cannot trace the information we collect back to individual users. We use the Google Analytics tool, which is provided by Google Inc. (Google), and the tool’s functionality means that collected information is sent to and stored by Google. The tool uses cookies and is used to collect information from the website and to generate and compile statistics. If you use a web browser where the “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature is enabled, the website will respect this setting.

Pursuant to Section 2-7b of the Electronic Communications Act, Decisive is required to inform our visitors about the use of cookies. Decisive uses cookies to collect information about the use of the website.

Courses and seminars

When we organize courses and/or seminars, we will collect the email addresses, names, and phone numbers of participants during the registration process. This information will be used to keep track of who is attending our courses/seminars, what industry they are from, their job titles, and to compile statistics so that we can improve our courses and seminars. The information may be used to contact the respective participants to obtain feedback on the course/seminar and for marketing purposes.

The information collected will not be shared with any third parties.

Audit

Decisive is committed to privacy and security. To ensure that we comply with internal and legal requirements regarding data and information security, we conduct annual security audits.

Rights

Anyone who makes a request is entitled to information about a company’s processing of personal data, cf. Section 18, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Data Act. Decisive has provided such information in its privacy policy and will refer to it in response to any inquiries. Individuals who have registered personal data with us have the right to access their own information. The data subject also has the right to request that incorrect, incomplete, or information that we are not authorized to process be corrected, deleted, or supplemented. Inquiries and requests from the data subject will be answered free of charge and no later than 30 days after Decisive received the inquiry.
